We are open but with reduced operating hours and days.

We are looking forward to meeting up again with our annual summer visitors at the KBC.

Unfortunately we have had to drastically cut our operating days/hours due to a lack of staff.
Closing 4pm Xmas Eve
Closed Xmas and Boxing Day
Closing 6pm New Year’s Eve (no band)
From Monday 27th December we will be closed every Tues/Wed. Our hours will be 12:00 noon until last orders for kitchen 7pm (not 8pm as it used to be).
Our all day menu will be available from 12:00
So no breakfast service, scones etc - just straight into our delicious menu and cold drinks…
If you have joined the club (prior to 19 December) your temporary card will be at the club for you to collect.
Note fuel is still 24/7 regardless👌.
Dave Crooks our Dockmaster will be happy to process memberships on the wharf - please see him directly.
We realise this news will be disappointing for some - a crazy time for all!
Best wishes for a fabulous summer on the water from Davo, Robyn and the team

Double Vaccination.

KBC endorses the Bistro stance and insists that guests to the Club and Bistro must be double vaccinated – self explanatory!
Please note we will be checking vaccine passports so remember your phones (keep them charged). No proof no entry sorry…☺️

Peter from Hauraki Express has informed us that 95 Octane petrol is now being served at KBC fuel jetty. This he maintains is the better product for higher performance engines.

Squadron Moorings:

The moorings located outside Lidgard House are owned by the Squadron. Previously, the Bistro has managed these and taken bookings from Squadron members and KBC members.

The Squadron has kindly taken over the bookings system – an online system is being setup but if KBC members wish to book, please contact the Squadron.

Successor to the wonderful old KIYC (1952),  Kawau Boating Club opened its doors Labour Weekend 2014. Since then significant up-grades have taken place to the Clubhouse and facilities, and our new managers David and Robyn Lee are providing top quality service, food and beverages.

Members receive a discount on beverages, free access to showers, water, laundry and Wi-fi access in the Clubhouse.  More important though - subscription revenues keep the Club going and help fund the up-grading of facilities. And keep the doors open. Support  from the boating community since has been outstanding with almost 800 members by closure for the winter in 2015. Latest boating Club to affiliate is Outboard Boating Club ( Auckland) joining RNZYS, Ponsonby CC, Devonport YC, Richmond YC, Sandspit YC and Mahurangi CC. If this continues, KBC continues.  Please join or renew.
