Notice of 2023 AGM.

The 2022/2023 Season AGM will be held on Saturday 28th October, 11am at RNZYS and via Zoom.  The meeting is being held at RNZYS due to club improvements in progress at the KBC Clubhouse.  

This will be the name of the new Bistro when it opens on Labour Weekend 2023. I am very happy to be able to tell you the new operators will be Daniel Ivel and Renee Young. They are locals to Kawau Island and the operators of the Sandspit Yacht Club Bistro and as such are no strangers to the special skills required for both living on an island and running a Bistro within a boating environment.There have been many discussions to ensure the dreams and aspirations of both Daniel & Renee and the club are aligned and we all believe...

Dear Members, UPCOMING AGM – SATURDAY 19 FEBRUARY 2022 AT RNZYS at 11am The Committee greatly regrets the misinformation regarding the Club being distributed by Lin Pardey and David Haigh.  A number of complaints have been received from members following Lin Pardey’s email in which she has publicised a large number of members’ private email addresses.  This has apparently come from an email she retained when she was previously a Committee member.  The disclosure of this personal information is illegal and entirely without authority from the Committee and the Club expects an apology from her to be forthcoming.  The Committee...
